AJ Gregory, Jim's Father

Dad came to Galion after me. Got my clothes at Express. Got Letha's car, went down to Burklews. Rather late, Emma and I went to Marion to a show, then to Paulson's for refreshments. She and I were both plenty sleepy.

She doesn't act as concerned about my leaving this time as she did last winter. I can't help meeting with this feeling every once in awhile. Some little incidents of the past three weeks may make all the difference.

We won't hear from either Jim or Emma again until June 8 when leave is over. Will the pair marry in Ohio? Return to Tennessee together? Stay tuned.
