Saturday, July 4, 1942
Heck of a place to be spending the Fourth of July. Dr. started looking me over. I wish they would hurry.
X-Rayed at 10 a.m. They sure fed me good. Weight 151 pounds now. Weighed 139 on January 14, 1942. Averaged 144-146 since 1937.
Slept some more. Read "Lost Horizon." Wrote to Emma.
